I hate realizing that the only things I’ve taken the time to learn to properly cook are all korean food, simply because I don’t live down the road from the asian grocery market anymore.

Also, speaking of? It seems that “Korean BBQ Sauce” is becoming more popular here? I’ve seen a lot of places trying to pass off their food as Korean BBQ or “Bulgogi Sauce” when all they do is make a weaker version of the Bulgogi marinade and slather it on after cooking the meat.

But Bulgogi is literally marinated beef- without marinating it, it doesn’t taste right.

tl;dr please stop americanizing every form of asian cuisine.
